DESCRIPTION:(back to Fun Run overview) \nFun Run 2022\nJuly 4th\, 8:15 am – 9:30 am \nThis July 4th marks the 13th consecutive year for the Nauset Heights Fun Run. \nRegistration for the Fun Run opens at 7:0am at the Priscilla Beach parking lot – the Start/Finish area. Participants are encouraged to download the registration form in advance and bring it with them. A contribution of $10 per individual is recommended. All proceeds are donated to charities. \nThere are two races\, including a short-distance course for kids 8 and under. The short-distance race begins at 8:15am and will take only 5 minutes. The longer\, 2.2 mile Walk/Run event starts promptly at 8:30am. The fastest runners will complete the long course in under 12 minutes. Medallions will be awarded to each participant. The overall male and female finishers with the fastest times will have their names engraved in the coveted Nauset Cup. \nFor more information about the Fun Run\, or if you would like to be a volunteer\, please contact Jess Tucker at jtucker@NausetHeights.org or (781)710-2302. DESCRIPTION:Nauset Heights Association hosts the annual Sand Sculpture Contest on Nauset Inlet near the base of the Association stairs. All ages welcome. Open to Nauset Heights residents\, renters and house guests. No advance registration — sign up on-site the day of the event. Create a castle or any other kind of sculpture. Enter as individuals or groups. Please bring your own buckets\, shovels\, etc. We highly encourage everyone to use natural materials found on the beach.
