DESCRIPTION:The new format of the tennis event is a round robin where everyone gets to play at least several matches. The Outing is for Doubles Teams only\, and open to all Nauset Heights residents\, their extended families\, and house guests.\nDoubles Teams will be split into two Groups – the Red and Green Teams – and you will have the opportunity to play against every other team in your Group. The Doubles Team with the best record in each Group will then play a Finals Match at the end of the Outing. All round robin Matches will be a ten-game pro set\, with a seven point tie-breaker if necessary. The Finals Match between the two Groups will be the best of two sets\, with a ten-point tie-breaker if needed. \nPlayers of all levels are welcome. Doubles Teams can be Mixed\, Women’s\, or Parent/Child. If you don’t have a partner\, please sign up and we will find you a partner. Depending upon the number of Doubles Teams we have\, the Outing will conclude on Sat\, Aug 14\, or continue on Sun\, Aug 15.

Groups can informally form to choose a location\, be it Priscilla Landing\, the base of the NHA stairs\, along the roadways\, etc. You may return your collected trash to the starting point and we will dispose of it for you. Don’t forget your gloves. Long tongs – such as grill tongs – are also a great asset! We’ll hold the event rain or shine. If heavy rains\, individuals can do a clean up on their own on another day.

DESCRIPTION:(Fun Run Overview and Sign Up) \nFun Run 2023\nJuly 4th\, 8:15 am – 9:30 am \nThis July 4th marks the 14th consecutive year for the Nauset Heights Fun Run. \nRegistration for the Fun Run opens at 7:00am at the Priscilla Beach parking lot – the Start/Finish area. Participants are encouraged to download the registration form in advance and bring it with them. A contribution of $10 per individual is recommended. All proceeds are donated to charities. \nThere are two races\, including a short-distance course for kids 8 and under. The short-distance race begins at 8:15am and will take only 5 minutes. The longer 2.2-mile Walk/Run event starts promptly at 8:30am. The fastest runners will complete the long course in under 12 minutes. Medallions will be awarded to each participant. DESCRIPTION:(Fun Run Overview and Sign Up) \nFun Run 2024\nJuly 4th\, 8:15 am – 9:30 am \nThis July 4th marks the 15th consecutive year for the Nauset Heights Fun Run. \nRegistration for the Fun Run opens at 7:00am at the Priscilla Beach parking lot – the Start/Finish area. Participants are encouraged to download the registration form in advance and bring it with them. A contribution of $10 per individual is recommended. All proceeds are donated to charities. \nThere are two races\, including a short-distance course for kids 8 and under. The short-distance race begins at 8:15am and will take only 5 minutes. The longer 2.2-mile Walk/Run event starts promptly at 8:30am. The fastest runners will complete the long course in under 12 minutes. Medallions will be awarded to each participant. The overall male and female finishers with the fastest times will have their names engraved in the coveted Nauset Cup. \nFor more information about the Fun Run\, or if you would like to be a volunteer\, please contact Jess Tucker at jtucker@NausetHeights.org or (781)710-2302. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the inaugural Nauset Heights Pickleball Tournament. All levels are welcome whether you’re a seasoned pickler\, an amateur just getting to know the difference between the kitchen and the pantry\, or simply pickleball curious. Note that there will be an optional “Time with the Pro” on Friday\, July 19th from 4-6:30. \nLocation(s):\n• Court 1) Lipe Court\, 31 Doane Road\n• Court 2) CottageB/ Farnham Court\, 33 Nauset Road \nTime: First games start at 10:00 in each location; we expect to be finished by ~3:00\, depending on the number of teams and pace of play. An awards ceremony will immediately follow the final game at 10 Priscilla (Roncalli Residence). \nGeneral: As with most Nauset Heights Association events\, the tournament is open to all Nauset Heights Association members and their guests. As stated below\, there is limited / no parking\, so please either walk or cycle to and between the courts. \nFees:\n• $40 / Team for the tournament\n• Additional $20 / person for Time with the Pro on 19 July from 4:00 – 6:30 at Lipe Court\, 31 Doane Road.
