DESCRIPTION:(back to Fun Run overview) \nFun Run 2013\nPricilla Beach\nThis July 4th marks the fifth consecutive year for the Fun Run. \nRegistration for the Fun Run opens at 7:00am at the Priscilla Beach parking lot – the Start/Finish area. You can register on-site\, or download the registration form in advance and bring it with you. A voluntary contribution of $10 per individual is recommended. All proceeds are donated to charities. \nThe Walk/Run event starts promptly at 8:30am and is over by 9:30am. The fastest runners will complete the course in under 12 minutes. Medallions will be awarded to each participant. The overall male and female finishers with the fastest times are awarded the coveted Nauset Cup. \nFor more information about the Fun Run\, or if you would like to be a volunteer\, please contact Jess Tucker at jtucker@NausetHeights.org or 781-710-2302. We had a tremendous turnout with 128 participants ranging from ages 4 – 86. \nThe Fun Run is organized and sponsored by NausetHeights.org. A voluntary contribution of $10 per individual or $20 per family was recommended. All proceeds are donated to charities. \nThe Walk/Run event started at the Priscilla Beach parking lot and took participants on a scenic\, “back-roads” tour of Nauset Heights for approximately 2.2 miles\, finishing back at Priscilla Beach. The course was challenging with steep hills and tricky footing in some areas\, but the views were spectacular. The Fun Run is a great social activity that brings neighbors and friends together. Medallions were awarded to all participants at the finish. The overall male and female finishers with the fastest times were awarded the coveted Nauset Cup.
