2010 marked the second year for the July 4th Fun Run which is organized and sponsored by NHO. There were over 100 participants in the race, representing families from all over Nauset Heights.

Thanks to all of you who helped with the Nauset Heights clean-up. We had a great turnout with record collected trash. The Heights looks wonderful. Each time any of us pick up an item of trash, it makes the task that much easier and helps us all enjoy our pristine surroundings.

For the third year, NausetHeights.org presents Movie Night - an outdoor movie presentation of UP. The movie will be shown at the Tenney residence, 1 Priscilla Rd. Movie previews start at 8:30. Bring your own blankets, beach chairs and beverages. For Nauset Heights residents and their guests only. This event is FREE. Use of the projector for the Movie Nights has been generiously donated by Advanced Communications Technology

2 Day Event July 23 & 24 Nauset Heights has enjoyed tennis tournaments from as long ago as 1922. Whether beginner or not, join the fun and play in events during the weekend of July 23 and 24. Tournaments will be open to all residents and house guests. Matches will be held on various courts around the Heights. Come cheer on your favorite team at the finals, to be held at the Tyngs’ court at 13 Standish Road.

Join us on Tuesday, July 26th for the NHA Golf Tournament at The Captains Golf Course in Brewster (Port course). We have a series of tee times beginning at 12:03 p.m. and every 9 minutes thereafter.

The Orleans Historical Society that they are hosting a lecture on Striped Bass and Shore Fishing by Tony Stetsco – the world record holder for catching the largest striped bass from the beach (caught on Nauset Beach). Tony is a legend on Cape Cod and he has written several books on striped bass fishing. The lecture is on Tuesday, August 2nd at 7:30pm at the OHS Meeting House Museum. Annual meeting for Members of the Association. Come and get acquainted with old and new members, meet George Price, Superintendent of the Cape Cod National Seashore, our guest speaker, conduct the annual business of the Association, and elect the Officers and Board of Directors for the next year. Don't forget your lawn chair.
